Hausbrandt takes part in the second edition of “PicNic in Fiore”, the event where wellness meets excellent gastronomy in a brand-new format. The date (under the stars) is set for every Thursday night from 31 May to 7 September in the Conca Valley, at the FreeLandia educational park, with a program full of activities for adults and children. A great opportunity to discover the pleasure of a picnic in the meadow in one of the most beautiful and charming locations in the hills between Romagna and Montefeltro.

Under the patronage of the Emilia Romagna Region and with Hausbrandt’s sponsorship, the event is aimed at bringing the general public closer to Italian wine and food excellences, against the backdrop of a beautiful landscape and in a friendly, informal setting.

The menus, designed by Liberato Aliberti, are different for each night, and will be served in a picnic style: each guest will get their own basket and a map to reach a park area set up with tablecloths, cushions and bales of hay. Every night, a number of famous Chefs will be present, including Top Chef Italia winners Fabiana Scarica and Cinzia Fumagalli.

Adult guests will be able to taste the Italian excellence of Hausbrandt coffee. In line with the ecological spirit of this initiative, they will be offered an espresso made with an epica® capsule: patented by Hausbrandt and recyclable, its double chamber ensures maximum hygiene and preserves the fragrance of freshly-ground coffee. This innovative system is compatible with Guzzini-Hausbrandt machines. The full range of 6 single-origin coffees will be available for guests. Coffee will be served to participants at the end of each night, between 8pm and midnight, in a fusion organic bar area furnished as a medieval market. To top it all off, a folk music accompaniment and theatrical representations of rural life. Before dinner, children will be able to enjoy a visit to the educational farm and the organic garden of the FreeLandia Educational Park, while adults may immerse themselves in the culture of the territory, enjoying the suggestive landscapes of San Bartolo’s Bell Tower, Montecolombo’s Civic Tower, the Malatesta Castle, as well as visiting the Eastern Gothic Line museum and the Ethnographic museum in Valliano.
